Yes but by looking at the Udinese bench from their last game, you can just factor them in.

I am going to this. I have not seen us lose a 4th Round away tie since Millwall last year, so the omens are good

We’ve got to get back to being the team that other teams ask “how did you lose to them?” and result in their manager being sacked. We had a good run of that for a while and this is a good opportunity to get a run going again. Just a shame stoke have already sacked Hughes.

I love the FA Cup so much more than the league as it offers a faint chance we could actually win. Promotion to the Premier League excited me because it turned us into a team which could win the FA Cup in theory. If it wasn't for the Cup I wouldn't care what division we were in. Fingers crossed for a draw.

Don't talk to me about that game. I am still having nightmares about it.

For the evening game a couple of seasons ago we parked at Ocean Car Park, near the Wharf, about 15-20 minute walk from the ground. We parked on the ground floor level, near to the exit and drove East (away from the centre) across the bridge along the A3025. We were on the M27 in 20min.

The first ten million years were the worst. And the second ten million: they were the worst, too. The third ten million I didn’t enjoy at all. After that, I went into a bit of a decline.

Why would you want to drive from Andover to Southampton, your most local away game? Get the bloody train!

I think it took us until the 85th minute to even get a shot on target which came from a defender (I think), the fans then started singing 'We've had a shot, we've had a shot!'

I remember it pissed down with rain before the match and even worse after.

Apparently Deeney and Gomes haven't trained all week, Cleverley is still training on his own and none of the other malingerers are due back any time soon.

The best is the start of the club's injury update which says: "Javi Gracia has vowed to not use the club’s injury situation as an excuse, promising to make maximum use of the resources he has as he begins to launch his reign as Head Coach of Watford."

Just missing out "Unlike sacked judas Marco Silva..." at the start.

That would be a fine point, were it not for the fact that I live nowhere near Andover. (but, as it happens, I have decided to get the train as I can't risk getting stuck in traffic on the way home)

Good. So when we lose 4-0 it will be purely down to poor coaching then ? Or the referee '

Somehow, nascot, I don't find the thought of you being drunk in any way fantastic. I have this impression that, like I used to, you need a few bevvies to watch the Horns in dire times. Maybe I'm wrong.

Really good you are going, hopefully you will enjoy the game, however I don't think buying tickets for FA cup games helps you very much as I believe only league games count towards getting a higher status!

The Hitchhiker’s Guide is becoming this forum’s Monty Python where a minority of members keep quoting this cult classic. I like it, keep it up!

We have an old boy at work that we call Marvin (he doesnt know this obviously). Barry is one of these guys who has worked in the same job for millennia, he never puts an upbeat tone to any conversation.

In this country we all know that when we ask somebody ‘how are you?’, nobody really wants to hear your latest gripes and the expected, and indeed polite response is always ‘not bad’ or ‘I’m OK thanks’, well not our Marvin:

    ‘Alright Barry?’
‘Not really KVA, ..............blah blah blah’, Like I’m a fffckng sumaritan!

‘Nice day Barry, nice to get some sunshine’
‘Depends if you like the sun’, then after a long pause ‘it’s too bloody hot for me’

‘How do you like your new car Barry?, better than that old Allegro eh?’
‘Well.............it’s certainly not as comfortable to drive you know but I suppose I’ll get used to it’

Now I just keep conversations with our Marvin short and walk away smiling to myself.

Anyway I’ve gone well off piste again, probably one for the things you hate thread really.

    Erm..... Southampton 1 Gravy Thank-you’s Hornets 2

“When I arrive at our next match, I don’t think about the players who are injured,” said the Head Coach. “I think we have 18 players and with 18 players we are going to have a good performance, a good match and we need to go on in this competition.”

Thank the lord. Silva gave us such a loser mentality.

Literally none of the 18 available players are kids, or inexperienced. Some of them were also farking expensive, and/or from big clubs.

Even the second string team is more than capable of winning games, they just need a manager who isn't constantly trying to cover his own back.

    Karnezis
    Janmaat
    Mapps
    Kabasele
    Holebas
    Richarlison
    Doucoure
    Pereyra
    Carillo
    Okaka
    Gray

    Keeper
    Zeegelar
    Pr*dl
    Watson
    Capoue
    Sinclair
    Success

That is the worst case scenario squad. It may not be our strongest, but every single player but Sinclair and our third keeper have proven themselves previously at a proper level.

About time our manager told the players that.
