I will hang it on her wardrobe tomorrow just before the match. Either way somebody is getting smashed. Me in the pub or her on all fours

For me it would be Brentford. I’ve been to more matches there as a ‘neutral’ than anywhere else, the atmosphere was always good and I lived nearby for a few years. The size and feel of the club is also similar to what I’ve been used to at Watford. I don’t think I could ever feel comfortable at one of the big boys.

I’m an international fan, found a few more but we’re all from the Watford area at one point in our lives and have just stayed loyal for some stupid reason. I’ve persuaded my son to follow the Orns, but he still likes PSG (cos he speaks French) so their his champions league team. I try to get the u -10S I coach to support us with not much joy. Some of them were recently involved in a football camp that was ran by a scouse lad. And he teamed them up with majority wanting to be Watford in the game at the end. But it’s not like they all will be rushing down the hornets shop anytime soon.

Plastered with sportsbet.io ads in that article - who are, of course, the club's main partner.

Never heard of a club paying a sponsor for a piece of branded content/PR like this o_O

Exactly. I'd probably become a Slough Town supporter of sorts. I kind of am already and saw them a fair bit pre-lockdown, been watching them almost as long as I have Watford really. Love the non-league. Saw Jordan Parkes play against Slough last season, think he turns our for King Langley now.

Id probably switch to AFC Wimbledon if the Pozzos put us out of business. Our debts will become unsustainable very fast in the champo. Sounds like Gino might bet the existance of the club on a rapid return to the PL. Huge risk. I honestly think the way AFC Wimbledon have come back from the dead to survive in league 1 is one of the greatest stories in the history of world sport.

I wouldn't be able to support another club, not really. Maybe take the kids to see Folkestone Invicta on the odd occasion, but that's it.
I reckon you'd get an AFC Watford type club being formed if we did go bust.

Are Brentford run in a similar way to us? Heard them described as having a 'moneyball' type approach, we were labelled similarly a few years ago.

This. Living in Warrington I don't get to see The Orns as much as I'd like (even though we've been crap) so I pop down to Cantilever Park and watch Warrington Town occasionally. As you say, decent club house, a beer on the terracing whilst watching the match and they've been doing well the last few seasons. Only £10.00 to get in. The only downside is that they're managed by an ex L*t*n player.
