I went to bed at 10.30, but didn't get to sleep until well after 2.30am because I couldn't get the game out of my head. That's never really happened to me before, after watching a Watford game. I was very concerned. The worst thing was having people laugh at me in the pub afterwards (this also happened after the Fulham game). It all weighed very heavily on me, and now I'm knackered at work.
I sulked all the way home, then worked 'til 3am because I knew if I went straight to bed I would think about it all night.
Had a bit of a moan in the car on way home then had a couple of glasses of Grenache Shiraz (Jacobs Creek, nice tipple) whilst trying to make sense of why we were so poor. I still haven't worked it out and my head hurts. My throat also hurts after hurling so much abuse at Kenny, Quinn, Warncock, Leighertwood etc, etc.
I went straight home and walked in to find the wife already gone to bed and then for her to have a go at me for the next 2 hours !!!
well no, but i had beer before then decided to have wine at the ground (yes, i know, but its a volume of liquid versus volume of bladder thing) and i smuggled it back to my seat. then me an PYA were so convinced that we were going to get a goal, i downed it to stop myself throwing it everywhere... I was wrong
Maybe you shoulda kept hold of it... might have brought us luck... if you had kept hold of it then we might have scored and you might have launched it over PYA... now that would have been a funny thread!! lol
so, now youre blaming me for us losing? i do have PYA-related gossip though, but i think thats for another forum..
As i had to be up early I stated to numerous people i was going straight home. However on my way i had to drop somebody at the Clarendon Arms. as i was so annoyed i was tempted in for a quick one. This resulted in numerous bottles being drunk very quickly and me not leaving the said pub till around midnight i think.
I went round to girlfriends and gave her what for!!! She prefers us losing than winning apparently.... saucy sadistic *****!!
