Should we all be Liverpool supporters?

?

Do you support the plucky 'Brits' when they play in Europe?

  1. Yes, of course. They represent the dominant power of the marvellous English Premier League.

  2. I have to. We can't have Johnny Foreigner putting one over on us. We invented the game.

No problem at all Mol....I'm sure HB1 knew I was just teasing him as I had put a smiley face!

In my opinion, of course ;)

Anyone would think Ramos had sprinted at Salah as fast as humanly possible and dived in two footed at knee height the way some are going on. An intentional foul? Yes, but that's about the long and short it of.

Liverpool lost because without Salah they simply aren't that good, certainly not consistently at least. They have a few other very good players, but they still rely on him to such an extent that I don't think it's unfair to label them a bit of a one man team.

Klopp is also a complete fraud of a manager and their fans are vile and delusional, so I'm glad they lost.

I don’t think Klopp is that bad, certainly in the big games. His side play good football, hunt the ball well and counter attack with great speed.

He is let down by being a media whore with an old and boring routine, and by being too one dimensional against teams which park the bus, but nobody is perfect.

I can’t say I feel any sympathy for Liverpool. Big players get injured in important games. If you rest your chances on one player, you don’t deserve to win the cup.

Liverpool fans are and have always been the worst fans around. There are exceptions, but if there’s an overly emotional fan yelling stupid opinions at a bar on holiday, they’re always a Liverpool supporter.

I’m not surprised they messed it up. Im not surprised they were confused as to how it happened. I’m not surprised we haven’t heard the end of the Salah injury or the Karius mistakes.

It’s more simple than that. They were outplayed for the vast majority of a final and lost. They had little luck. But they were relying too much on luck in the first place.

Most can see that except - surprise surprise - Liverpool fans.

Probably because some people on here (at times) talk like their opinion is fact.

I wonder if Ramos would have passed a drugs test?

Some people come across like what they are stating is nothing but fact.. and it rarely is. A bit of humility in the way people put things across isnt a bad thing.. and "in my opinion" is 3 words not a paragraph.

I my particular case, I often give the reader credit for having a modicum of intelligence. If the reader cannot differentiate between fact or opinion, without having an IMO or IMHO, then it's the reader's problem. No one should have to dumb down or patronise a post in case some do not get it.

There are some well known knuckle-draggers, who can do nothing but be snide or insulting in virtually every post. Of course these forum readers will never understand anything that is not mind numbingly obvious, but like I said, it's their problem.

To be unkind, it is a rather convenient outcome.

And two weeks after the event must surely make it an educated guess rather a statement of fact.

Like HB1’s apercus, or not, depending on your point of view.

On May 31, 2018 Mr. Karius underwent a comprehensive examination by Dr. Ross Zafonte and Dr. Lenore Herget https://www.massgeneral.org/News/newsarticle.aspx?id=6792

The tests were done 5 days after the final. I don't really know anything on concussion but can they not manifest a few days later?

    I’ve no idea myself.

But it strikes me that Karius must play more than his fair share of football while concussed.

Hmm, I would have no reason the contest the report, however I lose a bit of sympathy or Liverpool in this case, as aren't the doctors/physio of Liverpool supposed to pick that sort of thing up and insist on a substitution? Yes, I get that it's believed Ramos caused the injury, but the medical team has to be identifying concussions, in a final no less.

A concussion is incredibly hard to diagnose straight after the event - particularly if the player showed no immediate signs of trouble (as far as I know he didn't signal to the medical team). Nor would a player probably realise they weren't feeling right, a desire to play on mixed with the adrenaline of playing in a Champions League final would override any feelings of pain.

Odd though he was showing symptoms in the home game against Roma too.

In view of these tragic circumstances, which have once again further blighted the world's most tragedy-afflicted city, I join with the people of Merseyside in demanding a replay.

Karrius' concussion is in no way a *****xcuse and a replay is the only fair solution.

Since there were also other tragedies during the season, resulting in tragically unfair defeats in the Premier League, it seems only fair that these are also replayed.

They should do it in memory of poor Doddy if nothing else.

I'm off to light some candles, start up a Change petition and create a go fund me page so that we can make a shrine.

Ultimately it will be the police's fault that allowed this to happen and the individuals concerned should be named and shamed and we should not rest until that happens.
