I dont think we should sell him unless the offer is over and above 5 mil as this is in my opinion the least he is worth.

Keep Ash unless he wants to leave...

IF we let our most talented player go for nothing this could alert other clubs to more of our players.

if we get relegated i would understand his desire to leave. if we stay up;) i don't see why he wouldn't stay.

I chose the 5m option above, but I might accept less than 5m if pretty close to. The thing is while Ash is a fantastic player, the club has to make decisions that are the best for the club. When the time comes around that decision may be to sell Ash. In which case we should look for a decent price for him, maybe not 5m but close to.

I've gone for the £5 mill excess option, but knowing this club we will give him away to anyone that offers in £1.5 mill then have to listen to his new manager gloat about what a bargain he has picked up!

Reading between the lines, Ashley is definatley going this announcement is to prepare us for the fact.

If he wants to go and we are able to get enough cash or exchange players along with our bank balance at the moment, to replace him, get 2 strikers a central defender and creative midfielder yes.

It is not productive to stop him leaving if he doesn't want to stay.

I do think that he is happy here. Big fish small pond etc. also with family at the club.;D

Young has a very close relationship with King and looks up to him, so that may have some affect.

i voted not until the end of the season.

Regardless of his worth in Jan versuses his worth if we are relegated the prize of staying up (increased TV money next year) is far greater.

I think it would have to be a silly money offer for him to go in Jan and £5m isn't that.
I actually personally don't think he is worth that much but that is another debate entirely.

Completely agree, but if he really wants to go keeping him here might affect performances.

I cannot see Aidy selling Young this January.

We need to bring in quality...not let it go!

I voted not at all for the reasons that watching watford without young we were lost there was hardly no movement in the attack i just hope we stay up and keep king and young up front.

I voted 'Only if we get an offer in excess of £5m ' but i dont suppose the board would let Aidy spend that money on a decent player

A little from column A, a little from column C. I went for end of season, but if someone like Arsenal came in with £5Mil in January and Ash wanted to go then it would churlish not to let him.

i voted not at all, unless there is someone else we need the money for or someone to replace him or if he wants to go. (which i doubt he does) we should keep him

As I said after the P-O-F.

He will go in January regardless of the money offered.

    Everton, Villa, Fulham or Newcastle.

It’s all a game of risk. I’d keep him until the end of the season, because Ash is a match winner who is our biggest hope of remaining in this league now Marlon is out. I think Aidy and the board will think the same.

Therefore I’d rather keep him and potentially win the jackpot of £50 Mil than sell him for say £5 mil now (even if that does mean his value will be less in the summer if we go down).

I said not until the end of the season...

This is due to the fact that we NEED him, and he may well be a star player to help us stay up...

Also, we may make him look better than he is so his value may increase before the end of the season...

If we get relegated we should sell him, but not for less than £5,000,000
