He has been at fault many times this season so far , being a contributory factor in many of the goals against us. I just hope Aidy's faith in him does pay off, I just can't see it thus far
Many times? how can there be many times in 4 games... when christmas comes lets reassess that... no matter what he has been a good strong defender for the most part of his career and i know that once he gets his teeth into the regime he now plays in and the league he plays in he will get better and i know of at least 4 or 5 occassions he has helped stop goals!
Danny Shittu is a BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of da prem strikers will wet themselves when they come up against him. sure he's abit immobile but he makes up for it in power and aerial ability. might prove to be a bit slow against the likes of henry and saha but we've got jay Demerit for that
Yep I think he's a good buy, as long as we have another central defender along side him with pace and they work together. He's had a few shots already, so would expect a couple of goals by the end of the season if he can retain his first team place. As I see it he is Malky's cometition and I think it's healthy to have 2 potential first team players for each position.
Can you imagine if we did get robinson back, i think they would be a hell of a pair and it would take some serious attacker to want to go hard at them two!
I also think Danny Shittu has been good for us this season, and although I was originally sceptical about him signing, I have to admit I have been impressed.
