Season Ticket Refund

    Is anyone who opted for a refund on their 2019/20 season ticket still waiting to be paid? Payment was promised by the end of June.

    Yeah. The ticket office sent an email end of last week and, surprise surprise, they blamed the ticket supplier to the devil himself (Ticketmaster) for the issue.

    I must have missed that. Thanks. Have Ticketmaster ever been known to do anything efficiently? Why the club continues to work with them is beyond me

    I've worked with them for the last few years and they are useless, they just have a huge monopoly on the industry which makes it very difficult to use anyone else.

    One more month of paltry interest on the money for the Pozzo’s I reckon is the real reason! Gotta get that 0.5%!

    To be fair, they were very efficient about refunding Reading Festival money.
    Viagogo, on the other hand.....Made the mistake of buying tickets through them for Green Day as a Christmas present for Mr HH. Couldn’t get tickets through Ticketmaster and a friend suggested Viagogo. Never. Again. I’m nearly £400 out of pocket as Viagogo refuse to refund as the gig is technically postponed, not cancelled.
    Ticketmaster is angelic in comparison.

    Just received an email from the club saying Ticketmaster are unable process refunds! We now have to phone the club and give our debit card details before money owed can be repaid. WFC first contacted fans regarding their refund options on May 31st promising payment by the end of June! They then sent another email blaming Ticketmaster for the delay but with an assurance that payments would be made by the end of this week (see post number 2). Now apparently Ticketmaster have advised WFC they are unable to arrange refunds . What a farcical situation

    Sounds like simple stalling tactics to me, it's very common at the moment in all walks of life.

    Because nobody has any cash!!!

    Not that it affects me as I too opted to have a credit against my next season ticket, but during the lockdown hundreds of events where the tickets were sold through TicketMaster have been cancelled so surely they have been asked by multiple firms to arrange refunds.

    Interesting. I haven't had that email. And presumably you didn't receive the email I quoted earlier in thread? Chaos as always from the ticket office...

    When did you have to decide? It’s completely passed me by.

    Would have liked something sent, as a season holder, confirming options.

    They sent that one out a few weeks ago. Basically as soon as the restart behind closed doors was confirmed. Don’t think there was a deadline.

    My refund arrived this morning. I didn't have to ring the Ticket Office. Mine was to a credit card account rather than debit card, so don't know if that makes a difference.

    Yes they sent an e-mail out about mid April.

    Seems most of the refunds have been done going by what the club said to a friend.
     
  24. At the end of the day, it (the refund) is money you didn't think you would have, would not be earning any interest if you did have it, and you'll get it eventually.

    Chill.

    I see mine was refunded to my credit card on the 7th.

    Glad I donated ours to charity, it seems stressful waiting for the refund. We were lucky to keep working through the crisis, I hope those of you who need the money back get it soon.

    I got the first email but got nothing else. Emailed the ticket office who have told me it was processed last Tuesday and takes 5 days to clear. In fact it cleared Friday
