I don’t particularly follow Rugby but the interview on sky; so sad, you look and he is too young to have had a stroke from which he might make some recovery so your mind turns to something worse, some evil illness. And that man, standing there with his kids, it is so sad. MND is horrible. As a medic I’ve seen the consequences of this truly horrible disease. He won’t see his beautiful children grow up. Puts everything into perspective we are all here for a short time
It is a vile disease. iI is astonishing that Stephen Hawking lived so long with it. Paul Hutchins died from it last year. it does seem to be mostly amongst active men. Horrid and sad.
Sadly like Doddie Weir the Scotland Rugby Union player. Did hear the interview - does the speech suffer quite quickly?
