Utter embarrassment to a man.
sick of them.
Am told the players were joking as they were leaving the pitch.
EXPLAIN THAT PEARSON.
What lights up a football pitch at night?
A football match!
Why don’t fish play football?
They’re afraid of nets!
How did Scrooge end up with the football?
The ghost of Christmas passed!
Thank **** there are 4 other Godawful teams in the relegation battle, if we are to avoid the drop, them ******* up will play a big part in that...
We need to clear out the dead wood. Maybe getting relegated will be a blessing. Half of these slackers would fold at places like Millwall and Forest anyway.
We have a good team when they want to play football. Crowds or not, that was embarrassing
Football is about attitude and their attitude stinks.
This has been going on for far too long. It’s sounds reactionary but **** that group of players, **** Watford.
Utterly utterly ****. I hate them after tonight
I can’t wait until grounds open up again and we get the begging email to renew season tickets. They can **** right off. **** off Pozzo.
Especially after tonight. C@&£s
I know.....I saw Deeney saying that too. He needs to put his hand over his mouth in future as it's easy to lip-read him.
Joka’s Championship team would beat our current side.
There is not a team in the division that deserves relegation more than us. From the owners, chairman, scouts, managers and players - I genuinely believe no one deserves to stay up. Justice will be served if we get relegated.
Even if we stay up it’s only going to be more of the same next season unless everyone’s attitude changes.
West Ham deserve it far, far more than you do. Brighton too. Probably Villa.
I loved that bloody squad. To a man. I despise our current one.
If we don't go down this season we'll go down next.
If only we had someone with the ability of Toszer or Abdi at setpieces. The number of points you can pick up is remarkable. As for this lot on Sunday afternoon:
This is all a bit excessive, or is everyone on a wind up?
Liverpool won the league last night having only lost one game, who beat them? (Our game before last).
Last game we drew at home to the third team in the Prem., not an awful result.
Last night we lost 1-0 away to Burnley, yes I was disappointed also, but I'm finding this massive over reaction hard to fathom.
Two games before last. You've missed the defeat to Palace.
This is fine.
This is absolutely fine.
We beat Liverpool you know.
So it's all fine.
To Europe and beyond. With smiling Javi Gracia......
Not if you keep Pearson & allow him to clean house. Changing managers three times a season will never get you a football team built .
I think most of us feel Pearson is wasted here.
He only picks the team from the squad he's given.
Many of us want our owners to change their rigid structure and give Nige some control over recruitment and wider backroom staff.
If we stick to the way we have always done things, Pearson deserves to go somewhere where his talent can be exploited to the full and we can get another continental yes man.
He does pick the formation though and he got that wrong Thursday
You are quite correct, I stand corrected, I went to Palace as well.
Maybe that is my problem, I only remember the good stuff.
It can't be fine all the time you know.
It can be all fine part of the time, and it can be partly fine all of the time, but it can't be all fine all of the time.
Yeah, I agree that he's not perfect. I'm far from convinced he's a tactical magician, but we've gone through 3 coaches this season alone. Were they all terrible at picking the side, making subs, setting tactics and organising training?
I'm trying to think of what we can change.
Even today, all Leicester fans seem to speak positively about how Pearson and Shakespeare set up their club, hired the right people and built the foundations of their title charge.
Maybe they're wrong. Maybe Pearson had nothing to do with it. Maybe he needs to go and we need to keep chopping and changing until we find a magician. I dunno. I'm tired.
I wasn’t convinced when we got him but we started well but since probably when Deeney missed the penalty against Spurs it’s not been so good, Liverpool aside. Leicester was a few years ago now. I don’t even know what I’m trying to say anymore. I’m also tired!
We don't have the financial backing to clean house and replace them with a competent squad, especially not over one 2 or 3 week pre season. Also, how much control does Person have over transfers? Very little I imagine. We also have players on contracts and salaries they wouldn't get elsewhere.
Pearson should stay regardless but it's going to be a 3 year job to rebuild this mess of a team.
Confident we'll survive this season but next season is a big concern.
I don't want Pearson to stay. I don't think he is the long term answer.
I would prefer the usual- a foreign manager that not many have heard of with no premier league experience.
I’ve an idea. Why doesn’t Pozzo sell up with his outdated model that loads us with external debt? Probably because he has loads of external debt and a squad where half would not attract a single bid.
Wouldn't put it past Gino to bring back Gracia
Does the makeup/value of a squad really attract buyers to a club of Watford’s stature? Surely if that was an important factor the type of buyer it would most likely attract is a Bassini asset-stripper chancer?
It's fine, we'll just loan Udinese's players if we go down...wait, you're telling me Udinese are **** now?
