Basically, make a team of players who've played for the club / support the club playing elsewhere who you'd imagine would play for the shirt. Not necessarily the strongest team - which is why I left Barnes out as I've always had the impression he would lean to Liverpool. Idea stolen from Millwall. - GK - Chamberlain [He was a scummer but he likes us better ] DEF - Gibbs DEF - Jackett DEF - Terry(?) DEF - Lloydinho MID - Porter MID - Eustace MID - Smith FWD - Mooney FWD - Loofer FWD - Forestieri (?) Manager: GT
Not sure about Smith or Porter ... maybe on the subs bench? Alan Mayes and Roger Joslyn must get a place somewhere.
What about John Barnes. Found a clip of the Semi Final v Plymouth in 1984, hell of a ball in for Reilly. Happy memories, lead to Watford's first (and also mine,) trip to Wembley. Still think Andy Gray is a ***t.
Barnes is always announced on TV and radio as ex Liverpool and ex England. If he were truly yellow he'd shout "Oi! No! I'm not avin it!" He is obviously a turn coating cahunt of the highest order He is a 'Glory Player'
