Sadly not true. Plenty of people in England have some weird liking for Rangers as they're a British team taking on an Irish team and all the political/religious crap that goes with it. On the flip side there's loads of plastic paddys in it for the same reason.

Both sets of fans appear to be a bit stupid. The SFA's Hampden lease is up in 2020 and there's talk of leasing Murrayfield instead - fans of each club have complained about having to travel to Edinburgh for their Old Firm matches. Apparently not realising that their Old Firm matches are played at either Ibrox or Parkhead...
