This man is not keeping us up. This is not a knee jerk reaction.

He doesn't have it in him. That Everton performance STUNK.

The players are not inspired, they're bored and devoid of any creativity.

We 10000000% are going down under QSF no doubt about it.

You need charisma and bollo*ks in a spot like this.

You need bold decisions and big calls.

I get it our defence is rubbish so you’re trying to keep it tight but that’s not how you inspire a team towards the kind of season saving run we need.

If he was having any effect we would’ve won this cup tie because Everton were SHOCKING.

Not good enough from the very top and I’m ******* sick of making excuses.

Tonight is a reminder there is no point being solid in defence if you can't score a goal.

I'd started to feel encouraged but I'm now feeling relegation is a certainty

Needs to go. Should never have been brought back in the first place. We are sleep walking to relegation with him in charge in the most boring, uninspiring fashion.

I still think we have a chance of staying up. With Norwich Southampton and Newcastle in close proximity we have a chance. I aint giving up just yet.

I think the fitness at the start of the 18/19 season was what got us that blistering start. We just looked better conditioned than other teams.

I can't, for the life of me understand why they then allowed this previous summer to go in a completely different direction, contributing heavily, imo to the **** sandwich that this season has become.

A summer of poor recruitment and poor preparation of the existing squad, by a club full of professionals who are all culpable to some extent for the failings they have brought about.

I want the pozzos gone. I don't care which puppet they have in charge whilst they are here. Their methods have run their course. They've taken us on a nice run but its over now and they need to hand over stewardship to someone for whom the success of the club is a priority, rather than an side effect if their wheeling and dealing.

They’re still working out whether to jump ship from here or Udinese first. Even they took a 7-1 hammering. They’ve had the good times but have they got the stomach for the bad times? All that effort made just to watch it crumble all around them.

It's quite likely that both go down, which would make for a very difficult situation for them.

Looks like they may have spread themselves too thinly across both clubs.

If the £££ keep rolling in they won't care. Survival by 1 goal is enough to earn a **** load more £ from TV coverage/rights. Udinese fans told us this year's ago.

You can't out-defend a team and win a game. You can however out-score a team and win a game. I'd much prefer the latter and yes we will ship more goals but will have a much bigger chance at winning a game. I thought the 2nd half of the Arsenal game, team set-up and approach was the foundation to move forward but from creating 30+ shots in a game to a handful of half chances is ridiculous.

Bloody hell, it’s still October. Season ends in May.
    28 more games.
QSF is ****ed by the lack of attacking options atm.
    He’s shored up the defence.
    That’s step one.
We needa win and the mood will change, confidence will grow and a little run will turn it all around.
There are some poor teams we can overhaul.

    We’re in the trenches.
    It’s not pretty.
We need fighters and it will all change, especially with some new blood in January.

    Never never never give up.

If we go down, QSF won't manage us in the championship (it would be awful if he did).

Why don't we give the job to someone new who might try something different (QSF's plan clearly isn't working) and worst case scenario has 7 months and a full pre-season to get us into shape next year if we do go down.

Where are these fighters going to come from? The squad is jam packed full of fair weather cowards who are content to go on 7/8 game losing streaks season after season.

We also have a dire negative manager at the helm who has already been sacked by us before for being dire and negative. How do you think this is going to end!?

  25. wfc4ever

He will say it is with 2 clean sheets from 3 and a unlucky draw at Spurs ..

Next month or so will decide things - afterall 0-0 at Norwich and Southampton won't help things .

Already got Burnley down for a 0/0-0-1!!

We need a win. Cant see it any time soon and, more importantly, I can see us winning a game, finally and then taking a hammering immediately after to destroy any potential confidence.

This team has deteriorated to such an extent now that it's not just a run of a few bad games. It's rotten to the core. There's a fetid stench of failure, weakness and cowardice around the whole club, on and off the pitch.

It's not gonna magically all come together because gray scuffs one in against Norwich and we nick a 1-0. We need root and branch reform of the club, the recruitment, the chain of command, the long term strategy, the physical conditioning plan, the culture, the attitude.

It will take us being relegated and, maybe being sold, because there is not a band aid to patch over the weeping, gaping, gangrenous wounds in our club.

    We are doomed.

I don't blame Quique though. As frustrating as it is to see, I dont think anyone can weave a decent side out of these players. Even GT wouldn't. He wouldn't be working with these players in the first place, because he wouldn't accept such a process of recruitment based on investment ROI, over aptitude and attitude.

Quique's face on the touch line quite often has the expression of "what the **** is this?". A man frustrated and speechless at the ineptitude of his squad.

Christ knows how Beppe will react when he comes back is anyone's guess. He'll probably drop dead from a heart attack within a month. All blood pressure records broken.

There is no doubt that our levels of performance have declined massively since Quique took over. His trade mark 'all-out defence' approach has nullified our attacking players completely . Not scoring means not winning and we need wins. If the Spanish Tony Pulis cannot see this and adapt his depressingly negative style to a system that suits the players we have (last season only 8 teams scored more than us), we are foooked. He can't/ won't change his way of playing so get him out before it's too late

What we need is a player that is able to pass sideways or to run down the wing and then pass backwards to a player losing more than the ground he has made up.

Look what happened at Granada. Pozzo filled in with multi nationals and the club eventually fell apart.
Sold it on to a rich Asian who put in place a home grown team as much as he could. Brought in an ambitious young manager and gave him time.
They are reaping the result of this change.
It has been said on here already, which club will will the Pozzo family sell first?

West Ham and Everton were decent performances in defeat, and far more encouraging than the tripe Flores has served up. Brighton and Newcastle were admittedly poor. I think Gracia had to go given the 10 game run but re-hiring Flores was an utterly dreadful move by Pozzo.

Positives - since QSF came in we’ve drawn 4 lost 2 in the league. And that includes 2 draws against the big 6, and the defeats were Man City (inevitable) and wolves away (no shame there).

The main negative, when in good positions we only have one maybe two players in the box. And unfortunately the ones we have need lots of chances to score.

The problem is, the longer you go without goals and wins the more the confidence and defensive frailties begin to show.
