So basically like someone has aggregated all the posts on here and spat them out as one semi- coherent post.

Yeh they spent nothing . Too busy lining their own pockets No doubt . Even if they’d bought a player he would have been sh*t anyway !

    Sounds really positive.

All of our "better" players wants to leave, none of the promising loanees want to come and Cucho still can't join after 11 years of trying to get a work permit even he wanted to. Oh, and Mariappa is probably staying for another season, aged 70. Cool.

    Good times.

Just playing devils advocate really, but let’s say we didn’t buy Sarr and spent £30m on the defence. Sure we’d have a pretty good defence, but where would our goals have come from?

Genuinely think he just reads this forum and states some of the more sensible posts into one article. Stealing a living.

The game is up when he suggests Priskin as manager, Deeney as CB and Robot Horse playing the Chalobah role.

I genuinely don’t think that’s how executive management works, (regardless of industry). I think one of the major factors in the clubs strategy is that we have less working capital than other premier league clubs. So I fully understand why the club had to invest senior management time in building long term strategies to levy in more investment and income.

However I think the football side of the business is always the dominant one In the Pozzo mind. I genuinely think he played a few percentages that did not work out. Until March it looked like Watford had the momentum To avoid relegation. However lock down did lose the momentum. The Pearson strategy of one up front begun to be queried as we lost game after game. And pride got in the way after the West Ham defeat (with the realisation that relegation was now likely), and Pozzo pushed the owners button and sacked Pearson, a head coach he had already decided would be gone at the end of the season.

The test for the next season is, can the leopard change his spots, and create the energy in the club to get promotion?

Disappointing that Kit has been given a free. I thought he was a great prospect.

Maybe Gino is getting less guidance from his dad and more from Giraldi Scott and even Deeney. Gino's dad is a self made man, Gino was just born into it. Probably doesnt have anything like his dad's skillset and nous and seems to be easily schmoozed and influenced by incompetents.

With hindsight we shouldve sold Deeney and Pereyra for £20-25 million combined, added the £5 million we wouldnt have spent on Dawson and used that to buy 2 £12-15 million defenders. Then we could've upgraded the defence and bought Sarr.

When is it that they are coming? I'm afraid they might end up being a tad futile at this point.
