    I remember the geeks in Wuffod's CEX telling me there was an unofficial competition between stores in their region in who could have a copy of A:CM on their shelf for the lowest price and the longest time.

    FWIW since we 'did' the Alien, Predator and AvP films my littlest discovered I had a free DL of the Xbox 360 AvP (2010) on my Xbox live account. It was a little short on gameplay but he really enjoyed it (as did I). For his birthday he requested Alien Isolation - it's not my cup of tea but he's really in to it.

    EDIT: I think the first PC game I ever bought was AvP (Gold?). Really great game, loads of gameplay and levels and played as the three characters - how come such a good Alien game was never developed for consoles?

    I bought my son ( well myself really) a driving chair.

    Really worth investment if you like driving games.

    GTA 6 release date will be when I buy the PS5.

    Although really Im waiting for RDR3. Probably another 5 years I'd say.

    If you want a decent example of the gimmicks and tech, the inbuilt demo that comes with it is worth a whirl even for just half an hour or so.

    Some more footage of what we can expect to see on the Unreal 5 engine using photogrammetry techniques. Makes the mouth water. Let's hope in the field of sports games the AI makes a corresponding increase so there is substance to accompany the style.

    Great racing sim for those with a wheel. Recent DLC includes a British circuit pack and utilizes the Unreal engine. Compared to older race sim titles the AI is improved but unfortunately for whatever bizarre reason no damage is reflected in the visuals thanks to the manufacturers. Quite happy to see their cars knocked about in the real world but worried how it might impact in the cyber one. Bizarre. It does really reduce the immersion.

    It certainly needs a wheel. I downloaded it in the January sale and have tried playing using a controller. It's really difficult, the car is hard to control especially under braking.

    I can see how realistic the game play is but some other bits like pit stops are a bit of a shambles.

    If there's another GTA then I might buy a PS5. I bought a few PS4 games over Christmas but have hardly played them. Nothing really tempts me anymore.

    No chance of that for a good 5 years. They're bringing out a PS5 version of GTA5 and it's still, unbelievably, one of the biggest sellers of the year 8 years after it came out. Incredible really.

    There was a bit of chatter during the BLM protests and US police shootings as to whether another GTA game would be a wise idea.
