@Johnny Todd Sings you have your wish. @Cassetti's Beard you have the dubious pleasure of the home fixture against Birmingham City on the twentieth of March. @Diamond you have plenty of time. You have Cardiff City away on the thirteenth of March. Thanks to you all for stepping in. Cheers.
I was thinking of doing that one GD. If only to savage Newton Heath and rile their plastic supporters.
So at the time of writing we have lost 6 out of our 27 games this season, 22%. I have written 2 previews and we have lost both of them, 100%. Firstly I would like to apologise to you all, my fellow forumites, I am very sorry. Whilst I appreciate my poorly constructed efforts, often done with little or no research (and a complete inability to attach images on 50% of them), can in no way be considered quality posts I have carried them out in good faith simply in the hope that they would start the match chat and general banter. If at any stage I had felt my offerings would have a detrimental effect upon the team performance obviously I would never have posted them. As a long standing supporter of the club I must admit I feel a little as if they have thrown me under the bus here in some misguided attempt to detract from a poor performance and a failed end to the transfer window on the day of my allocated match. It is disappointing and not a little hurtful, as such, if they think I'll be spending any of my money on half time pies this season then they can jolly well think again. Whilst I don't feel I am solely to blame for this situation these are the facts and so I must accept some responsibility for the outcome. As such I think I should refrain from volunteering for previews until I can be confident of an improved performance, at the very least until we are mathematically safe from relegation. Apologies for any suffering my actions have caused, I promise to work tirelessly to rectify the situation moving forward.
