Exactly, and he's still done fine all things considered. Wycombe were never going to just let Sarr run at them, and nor did we get him into the game to try and force that anyway, but he still scored, and has played well in his last few games too
Yes. Part of the problem is we only get 30/40% possession due to midfield not doing their job and Ivic tactics. That’s the primary reason we aren’t getting the best out of Sarr - we don’t get the ball to him in promising positions enough.
I genuinely don't know if I'd put it down to Ivic's tactics, we could have done with an out and out striker...but the only option was Murray, and I can guarantee there'd have been a few groans had he started, and a 3-4-3 would have left us short in midfield. Either way, you'd expect Capoue to be able to grab a game like that by the scruff of the neck (no disrespect to Wycombe, he should be able to do that to everyone in the Championship), and Cleverley? He was awful, we created an opening soon after we scored, all he had to do was give JP a simple ball and he was in on goal, but he couldn't even do that

Is there a stat or graph somewhere to show how much of this was a) in our own half and b) was actually forward in the opposition half as opposed to "sideways/safe" I feel this stat of possession only doesn't tell the whole story
And that’s me done. 31 years of supporting this club and I’ve reached my end. Why should I waste my time and money on this club when the players can’t be bothered to even put in some sort of effort. This collapse is fully on the ownership and board of this club. Lesson weren’t learnt and the board don’t give a damn!! Players don’t care, the board don’t care, the owner doesn’t care! Therefore I no longer care. We desperately need new owners that actually want us to be successful as a club. Unfortunately the owner we have doesn’t. Ivic is the best coach we’ve had in a long time, yet he will be made the scapegoat yet again from the boards shortcomings. Ivic is stuck playing 3-5-2 because of no LB being signed! None of this is on him. Giraldi still needs to be taken out back and shot! Dux needs to be hung drawn and quartered. Gino needs to sleep with the fishes. Only then will we be rid of everything wrong with this club. So that's that. I will no longer waste 2 hours of my time and weekends to this club. Congratulations watford you have lost a fan that has literally spent thousands of pounds over three decades. Traveling, merchandise, tickets, special events. In fact it’s probably close to Capoue’s weekly wage. It’s my fault, because I love and care about this club, I want it too succeed. Garbage. He's not stuck playing 3-5-2 and he's showing himself to be inflexible and negative. He has killed the confidence of young forwards Sarr and Pedro by playing them out of position and with no target man. He's proving to be a liability.
The fact we are pinning our hopes on Gray or an ageing Deeney or Murray says a lot and is concerning..
Buck stops at Pozzos door. Ivic isn’t given the tools to get us back in the game if we go a goal down. Who do we rely on, Pedro (still a kid still learning), Sarr who is us much of a striker as I am. Troy ( lucky now that he didn’t jump ship), Perica and Gray have the job of getting us up. The Pozzos didn’t invest when we needed defenders and we went down. The Pozzos failed to find a half decent striker ( Reading did for about 7m) despite their worldwide network.

I think I've had enough. Seems knee jerk and yeah we would be more sh*t with lesser quality players playing for us but I'm just so bored of this hope. It's toxic from top to bottom regardless of what anyone tells me. It's getting close to 2 years since watching us play wasn't a chore. Sack the manager for what? Yep. On field success is not directly linked to how I feel about them (although if we go up I guess I’m going to give them benefit of the doubt to change the club culture and manage the finances better but not holding my breath!)
The true root of all evil. Stop living in the past, forget "what he's done for us" X years ago, it's all being undone now and disappearing into irrelevance at high speed. Utter incompetence being displayed, year on year, on so many levels. Ivic has to go, some of the players are long overdue f**king right off, but Pozzo is the guiltiest party of them all.
Absolute toxic top to bottom. Nobody ever leaves the club complimentary of the owners, we even managed to make things sours with Doucoure who comes across a lovely man.
