So humble plucky Bournemouth who gained promotion on the cheap..............

    Pfft. Amateurs.

All they needed was a rogue Italian to knock-up a fake bank statement on Photoshop.

What sort of punishment is that for cheating their way to over £100m a season, the punishment should fit the crime so they don't gain by over £95m in the first season alone

Perhaps but I don’t think we should be the club questioning it. Hardly whiter than white ourselves...

FFP is a joke, especially when breaching the rules helped to gain promotion and the riches that come with it. Either scrap the rule completely as it's not working (PSG spending half a billion on 2 players or Aston Villa spending only they don't have) or make it a rule with consequences that fit the crime. If a team gains promotion by breaking the rules, they should face a hefty points deduction.

The fact its taken 3 years to sort out says it all - the FL aren't that bothered.

Think QPR are still appealing about their fine!

But the issue is teams being promoted leave the competition imposing the punishment. And the financial results it relies on aren't ready until well into the following season. Why would the PL undermine their own competition and deduct points for the sake of the EFL's interests?
