Aye he’s been with the same bloke for about 40 years I think, secretly married and everything and came out a couple of years ago.

Lots of rumours circulating that he was having it off with a young show runner. Of course that may or may not be true, but it certainly helps to explain why now after 27 years he decides to come out.

 

Yes, apparently met this lad when he was 15 and then employed him as a runner. He has an injunction out to stop reporting. It's pretty much out there now, though. Expect retirement from public life soon.

Well this story finally got interesting.

 

Also explains why he gave his story to the sun. I can’t imagine why anybody with even a spec of integrity would give their story to that despicable rag over all the other options, unless of course the Sun were about to break the actual story (or just had the story hence the injunction) and he had no choice.

Also it’s been pointed out that this young show runner leaving this morning last year made the national press at the time, which is extremely odd because clearly under normal circumstance that just isn’t news worthy in the slightest.

 

Let's just remember that he's innocent until proven guilty.
If there's accusations out there those accusations can be discussed but if there's an injunction already granted then we don't want to get into any hot water.
