Has anyone else been converted from FIFA this year? I haven't bothered with a PES game since 2008, usually downloading the demo each year and being highly unimpressed very quickly and sticking with FIFA, but I have to say this years game is brilliant. The gameplay, animations, graphics and general realism on the pitch have moved well beyond FIFA this year, which has stagnated massively. I had the FIFA 19 beta and I thought it took everything bad from 18 and actually made it worse whilst improving very little, and it now feels like it's been left well behind in terms of it's on pitch play and graphics. The lack of licenses and high end "polish" in terms of layout, menus etc. is always disappointing in PES, but it's so easy to perfectly fix every single kit, logo, league name, manager etc. with a quick and free option file download from somewhere like PES World that it's really not that much of an issue any more. If you're a FIFA player who's become disillusioned with the game as I have then I highly suggest at least downloading the PES demo and giving it a go, it's well worth it this time.
