Paul Robinson

Everyone knows that this guy is quality, and that Aidy tried on numerous occasions to sign him. The West Brom left back has been kept at the club, for a variety of reasons, and maybe the most important was that Briam robson really rated him- he once said Paul robinson was one of englands best full backs and deservved a call up. Now that Brian robson has gone, and Aidy may still want him, there is a possibility with him coming back.

I'd personally love him back here- he gives 110% on the pitch- any views?

 

Think we'll have to wait and see what happens there. Brian's replacement could be even more difficult to deal with.

 

I agree about the 110% commitment. I'd have him back too, quality.

 

Definitly always put 110% in, sometimes tried too hard though, his card count was a little high. For a defender did score some good goals though.

Wonderkid! lol he was good, but you've got to remember it was his debut and it was agianst accrington. He did look a little unsure, however was very good at tmes; i'm not sure he deserves the lable wonderkid yet?

 

you will notice i put wonderkid in inverted commas.. i know he isnt yet, i was just mimicking what has been said about him since the game, and i did go on to say til we get him up to par.

Funnily enough was at the Hemel Hempstead vs St Albans game a few weeks back. He hasn't changed one bit except he's a CB now.

At Hemel, there's a 5-a-side pitch that's rented out to tournament/competition organisers. These are surrounded by umpteen ft tall nets to stop balls going out to the school behind and surrounding houses as needed (I use it for Monday 5-a-side) Apparently, there's a rule where if a Hemel player kicks a ball over the nets while training there when it's not rented out they pay for a new ball.

Take a guess at what happened at his first training session.

 

At least we'd have 2 proper fullbacks !!
