This has bugged me for sometime and what happened to JH on Sunday and what it has possibly cost our club has brought it to a head for me.

It's fantastic news that JH has had that terrible Red Card decision overturned, but what about what that INCORRECT card has quite possibly cost WFC financially?

People had be calling the game against The Spammers the £3.9m game, because that is what the club has lost by finishing 11th instead of 9th had we won that game.

Officials incorrect decisions can not only cost a team points but financial loss as well, therefore I believe there should be some sort of compensation for players and teams when BIG mistakes are made.

What is big though? Potentially any lose during a season causes points and positions to be dropped. It might mean relegation. That’s hundreds of millions. Compensation for all bad decisions then? The powers that be will then have a reason not to overturn them

Burnley's last minute goal against us was given offside when it wasn't. We seem to have loads go against us but some go for us.

For me there is no doubt that refereeing standards have got noticeably worse over the last few years and this season has reached new levels of crap. I feel VAR won't make the drastic improvement some feel it will.

I think you have to assume that bad calls will even out when it comes to league points.

To correctly account for the error we need to go back to that point in the match and restart the game. If you start chucking compensation claims about they'll just bin the review procedure and make the ref's decision final which imho is worse.

All overturned decisions do need to be recorded and monitored of course. Any specific pattern regarding refs or teams would need to be investigated.

We are top of the bad boys league yet again for yellow cards. We got 77 yellows and 4 reds. Most penalised side in the Premier League but are bottom of the league when it comes to being awarded penalties. We had only 1 league penalty awarded.

Seems like referees gave us a real kick-in this season.......again.

    The pens one is odd.

Are Del & Bobby too timid at breaking into the box? Is the interplay between the forwards too limited? Do refs dislike us?

Maybe Yes to all but at least we got the most pen of the season/our history (?) given.
