Admin, Do you think we could do something like a 'rent' with out orns, that we have to pay you every week or something, and they could go to daly comps or something? It could be like 10% of your total 'Orns and it would mean the richer people would be losoing bigger amounts than people with hardly any orns
I'll have to look into this later, but I think I could make a "tax". Do you think we need more competitions though? I'm of the opinion that we have more than enough right now.
The richer members of society could pay a higher percentage rate as well, which could be used to create a 'Dole Forum' where handouts for the most needy/lazy are given ;D This actually isn't a bad idea Rookery_Orn. It'd stop the rich getting excessively rich. All part of the virtual economy.
Tax could be a good idea, i think we should have a new forum called "The Compition Room" or something we're they're all held rather than all over the place alot of people are too rich, and the orns people lose from tax's and rent should be in comps for people with no orns to win, rather than just the lottery
Everybody should be able to make a comp, and could PM Admin and ask if it can go ahead so admin can pay out when the comp is won
We do need to be careful that there are not too many comps running. Probably best if someone wants to put up a comp to post a thread requesting it here and admin, or one of the other mods will pick it up.
Now then, I believe that I brought this concept up in The Ivam's 1000 'Orns post last week... I'm loving the rob from the rich approach! Can think of at least 2 people who will spit their dummies out at the mere suggetsion of this :]]
Maybe we should have a Job Seekers Allowance payment for people who don't have a job but provide a valuable service by churning out shyte on the boards all day instead?:rolleye1:
Obviously any such payment would have to be means tested to ensure we don't line the pockets of the idle rich :sign13:
