How many loans has he had since signing for us?
At least (I hope!) we're recouping some of that transfer fee we splashed out on him.

Watford striker Obbi Oulare has been linked by reports in his home country with a loan move to Anderlecht.
The 21-year-old Belgian spent part of last year back in his home country during a loan spell with Zulte Waregem.

And now Het Laatste Nieuws has said the First Division Champions are keen on a move to bring him to the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium for this season.

Oulare has only made 22 professional starts in his career to date, but has scored 10 goals during that time, albeit none during his time with Watford.
He has played only 51 minutes for the Hornets since his September 2015 move from Club Brugge.

 

Now joining Royal Antwerp on loan.

Will be following his progress with interest as I actually planned to watch Antwerp wherever possible due to an odd FM connection!

 

Would be amazed if this wasn't the signing that Filippo Giraldi was referring to at an At Our Place event, when he said he only really regretted one signing.

 

Nah, it's Vydra. Giraldi regularly visits this website for transfer suggestions and he's sick of people suggesting we shouldn't have sold him.

 

Only Ighalo showed over 18 months, to of been a good option instead of Matty. The rest are very questionable.

 

Except the point is that since leaving us Matty has not shown himself to be any better than what we've brought in. As has been pointed out time and again, even Derby fans don't think he is good enough for them any more. His ability and fitness took a huge nosedive starting from the last season of his time with us.

The most interesting/surprising part of this thread is learning that Obbi Oulare actually played 51 minutes for us.
