I wonder if they will ask him to try for an interview near the dressing room as the players (maybe Masina if playing) come off at half time or ask him to speak to SD or GP before/during/after

 

This game has a very similar feel to the FA Cup games we got during our previous spells at this level, when many of us looked ahead to the next game and the next season when hopefully we'd get a kinder draw. Man Utd are looking a strong side and I can't see us troubling them much, 3 or 4-0 to them.

 

We're going to win 2-0.

 

Maybe if they play there youth players Gromit, or if our boys suddenly click into form

If Gray plays, he’ll toil as usual and try 2-3 stupid little flicks/backheels/step overs (delete as appropriate) that meekly surrender possession.

Zinckernagel will still get hammered by sections of our support when surprisingly, playing of the Premier League’s form teams, he doesn’t tear it up and lead us to a famous victory.

Our defence will contrive to give them a laughably easy goal or two, or better still, penalties.

Munoz will smile and pontificate about how absolutely superb everything is after the game and how he couldn’t be happier, not to mention how outstandingly professional our lot are.

If Xisco has realised that Gray is a **** player and banished him to Ganymede for the remainder of his contract 3-2 United, If not 3-0 to United.

 

Looking forward to this, will be nice to play in a game where we arent expected to win, plucky underdog time, COYH!!

 

If we nullify the threat of Giggs, Beckham and Scholes we'll win this one easily.

Also definitely life on Europa which is more intelligent than Gray's footballing brain.

 

The 3 'Mr Watfords'. 2 of them embody the spirit and values of the club, 1 of them doesn't. I think we got lost somewhere along the way.....we know what the values of our club are and we've turned a blind eye for too long.

 

Hope Gray starts and Xisco finally sees enough of him to be finished with him (although currently short of a youngster we have no other forwards to replace him with). That and Zinckernagel getting an extended run to work on his fitness would be what I'm after in this game. Maybe another 45 minutes for Masina and 45 for Hughes. The rest is unimportant.

Although as it's on TV and will be our biggest audience of the season, I'm guessing Troy will pick himself.

Looks a stronger team than we've put out in the league of late, does seem strange how we're essentially putting them out for a runout!

United got City tomorrow and then Burnley 3 days after us, I imagine we'll be playing a 2nd string United team so the loss won't be double figures.

I want us to concentrate on getting promotion this season, so the cup doesn't matter to me this year! However once we are back in the PREM I would love us to win a cup competition, Domestic or even European.

The Eliteserien is a calendar year season - Zinckernagel just finished playing a 30 game season, with the last of those coming on the 19th of December. If anything, he needed the rest, rather than extra fitness.

 

I am indeed hopeful that in my lifetime we get answers to the question of whether life exists elsewhere in our Solar System. Discovering life that evolved independently to Earth on Mars or the moons of Jupiter (or indeed Saturn) would be a solid indicator that the galaxy and universe is full of lifeforms. Of course life elsewhere may not be entirely independent to Earth life, if the theory of panspermia holds true (microbes clinging to asteroids and floating from planet to planet). Nonetheless, it would be tremendously exciting.

Our squad currently has three United youth products to go alongside the further one currently on loan. How exciting for them all to get to go back home for the afternoon without having to quarantine!
