Bored researchers elsewhere once observed eels getting twitchy in a tank of water lightly laced with cocaine. So no London eels have actually been found with any cocaine traces or showing signs of hyperactivity. Pure urban myth making. The Thames is a huge body of water and there is going to be a lot more of a lot of things in it before you get to the charlie in hipster wee.
