Silva’s been great, but I continue to doubt his alienation of our best forward.

We already have more points away in seven games than the whole of last season 13 v 12

Last season 3 wins and 3 draws
This season 4 wins and 1 draw already
    Well done you Horns!

    What a result

I didn’t think we look very sharp today , but scored 3 didn’t let any in and should have won by 5. One of those days and good to see us grind it out when it wasn’t clicking properly

Thought Zeegelaar looked good, thought Kabasele looked strong again

What the **** was Gray doing though , I know he scored but should have had an easy hatrick

Phenomenal stuff. I was watching some dodgy stream and had a moment when we subbed Richarlison for Peyrera and I thought to myself, Jesus Christ, this is actually the team I support. Then Leon Osman on final score described us as a breath of fresh air in a league were everyone is defensive. Amazing stuff.

So pleased for Gray especially after his air shot. Great character to come back from that.

Great performance by the boys overall and lots to be happy about. Zeegalaar looks a good add - we've got two very good FBs in him and Femenia. Hughes was excellent again and might find himself in England contention if he continues to play like he has in the last two games.

Gray continues to look absolutely awful, though. Yes, he scored, but it was an absolute tap in after a sublime cross by Rich. Pretty much every other aspect of his game today was poor, although he did run around a bit so I'm sure that will mollify many.

A decent striker has to be our priority in Jan given that Okaka is apparently dead to Silva and neither Deeney nor Gray look suited for the way we're currently playing.

Not sure a striker will be more disappointed this season with scoring one goal after the 90, than Grey today.

I've never seen a striker miss so many sitters in the EPL. Awful finishing.

Felt that we could have played so much better given how poor Newcastle were. Still happy with the win, Zeegelaar and Kabasele were quality. Gray infuriating though, involved in some good pieces of play, and a good run for the tap in, but messed up 2 easy chances

I remember the days that you got up at 6 to drive up to Newcastle knowing you were going to lose but it would be worth it for the beers and stopping off on the way home in the midlands for a late night ruby

Now you get all that and win as well.

The craziest thing about today was the odds on Watford at the bookies. They still think we're bang average. Loving it.

We weren't as rampant as the scoreline suggests but that was a properly good away performance. Did what we needed to do in a tough fixture: got stuck in, defended stoutly and countered dangerously.

Hughes is really starting to look the part, not just in terms of the goal but in his all-round play. I lost count of the number of tackles and blocks Kabasele made, and the defence overall were solid today (yes including Britos!). Fair play to Gray for sticking at it after the miss and bagging a goal. I know opinions are just that, but I really think those describing him as "awful", "terrible" etc. are so wide of the mark. Not that he's brilliant either, and I certainly think we should be targeting a striker in January.

    Bring on the other United!

I thought we were a bit shabby today. It reminded me of early in Mazzarri's reign, when somehow we were picking up points despite a lot of sloppiness. BUT, we should have won by a lot more!

Now Troy's seen out his ban, I think that'll be the last start for Mr Gray for a while.

    Great day for us.

Beating Newcastle and West Ham was vital as we'll probably lose to United & Spurs.

Deeney back for United which could be useful.

Kabasele excellent again, quietly become very important.

Prodl back to full fitness should calm some of our defensive problems.

Holebas has got a real fight for the LB spot now, Zeeglar proving to be very useful.

4 wins out of 7 away games and it should've have been 6 if we consider Everton & Chelsea. Fantastic record.

Okaka needs to be moved on and replaced in January, waste of a squad space at the moment.

On a side note buzzing for Vydra who got a hat trick today and seems to have his mojo back.

    COYH!!
