Newcastle are no world beaters and I really have a good feeling about this one... When was the last time they won 3 league games on the spin? They'll underestimate us and without Parker and Duff (our destroyers in the cup) we have more than a good chance of winning! We need to freshen things upfront with personnel and ideas! Bring it on! Charlton will be bottom next saturday ;D
We certainly do need to try something different...Young and Priskin upfront with Smith and Bouazza on the wings! We need to get the ball out wide more like we did last season...we're playing far too narrow this season! Keiran, 0-2 next week fella...Priskin (2) Easy, easy, easy ringing out amongst the away supporters
On your plan I'd swap Doris for Smith and play young on the wing. I think Smith needs a couple of reserve games to sharpen up his targetting and improve his confidence. I want to see what Doris & Priskin up front with Boozer & Ash feeding them from wide will be like.
Put it this way we have more chance at Newtcastle than Liverpool. Even then we don't have much chance.
Of course we have a chance at Newcastle! Let me explain why... The Newcastle fans are very impatient and fickle! If we can frustrate them for an hour at 0-0 and stop them from playing they'll get restless and start getting on their backs...confidence then drains from them and they're scared to make mistakes! With our hassling, bustling and pace we can force a few errors out of their dodgy defence...they ain't too clever on set pieces either (cup game we scored our 2 goals from set-pieces)...we always have a chance with Shittu and Demerit from corners/free-kicks! However if we concede early then it will be very tough to come back! Liverpool away we have no chance!
Very true, lol. I think it is a game we could get something out of, but we will find it difficult. From the Blackburn game, Martins looks like he might actually remember where the goal is, since moving from Italy, and Shay Given back in the side bailing them out left, right and centre. It won't be easy that's for sure.
Don't be silly. 1. He has never been to that cesspit St James Park (he has more chance of going to Exeter's version when he goes camping with the cubs) 2. Mummy won't let him. 3. He hasn't got enough pocket money for a bag of chips, let alone a train and match tickets.
This goes to sum up how THICK Geordies are... from rivals.net 'blackburn are a dirty side, an ankle injury, hamstring injury and groin injury...all down to Blackburn's dirty tactics' Errrr how can a hamstring and groin injury be down to Blackburn's dirty tactics? They're muscle injuries you thick ****'s!
