Good news: Charles N'Zogbia and Antoine Sibierski were both taken off in tonights game at Chelsea after picking up injuries. Hopefully, fingers crossed they'll be big enough knocks to rule them out of Saturdays match.

Shame we can't play them in the New Year.

Bramble will be back and Rossi would have left!;D

This is not a knock at you in particular Dave but I'm struggling to work out why people think Rossi is such an obvious January target and a threat when we play Newcastle. His current scoring record of Played 3 (6 sub) and scored 0 (yes, zero!) hardly makes him stand out as the dangerman!

BBC are reporting that N'Zogbia has knee ligament damage, so is definitely out for a bit.

Charles N'Zogbia. Highly rated Newcastle midfielder. Was one of the only decent signings Souness ever made for them. He'd started pretty much every game for them this year (though missed the Carling Cup match at the Vic) so he's a crucial player for them.

N'Zogbia was a good signing for them, wouldn't be too disappointed if he was out on Saturday.

    berkshirehorn presumably I upset/disappointed someone

Michael Owen, Damien Duff, Kieron Dyer, Scott Parker, Titus Bramble, Emre, Nolberto Solano, Tim Krul, Shola Ameobi, Olivier Bernard, Craig Moore, Stephen Carr, Steve Harper, Charles N'Zogbia, Antoine Sibierski

    All injured.

I rather play the eleven available to Newcastle than eleven from this lot. there's even a goalie injured.

    Was speaking to Bubble earlier.

We have it on good authority Doris will score early on and the northern tools will then turn on the over paid primadonnas in stripes.

Yep, and that Geordie dancer won't be in the mood to do any dancing at HT! The only dancing will be done by Ash and Hammeur, as they dance through their defence...

    Fat boy Lee loves kebabs.

Although I recall him at the Vic in nancy boy grey gloves so not so sure how he would cope with a grim northern winter :)

I've seen Rossi play this season.

Alot better player than you may feel.

    We'll find out on Saturday.

    # Never mentioned him coming here in January. Quite frankly there's no chance. #
