The funniest moment from today's game was a result of our fans singing. The Geordies were remarkably silent for the vast majority of the game and we broke into some "We're the Right side, the Right Side..." which was met by, " We're the Left Side, the Left Side.." type stuff. Pretty dull stuff generally, but today was different - the Right Side started singing "Where were you when we were ****!" at the Left Side. You had to be there, but it was hilarious.

The way we applauded the players for their efforts you'd have thought we'd won the game ;D ;D ;D

Loved the way Aidy applauded the fans before the game aswell!

The atmosphere in our past two away games has been like the good old days of Division 1 and 2 back in the 90's!

I'm paticularly enjoying the old players songs :)

The fans and players are just enjoying themselves now.

Man City and Newcastle were great days out. Loyal fans appreciated by the players.

We were sitting near the guys on the right side and their efforts were top class. They didn't stop trying to get songs going all game, and afterwards too. Right side was way better ;)

Yep, staying at Travelodge Sunderland Fri., Sat. and Sun. nights.
Why Sunderland and not Newcastle?, I hear you ask.
At time of booking Newcastle total £169, Sunderland £70, also there is a fine curry house in Sunderland, and with my old git's railcard I get Sunderland Newcastle return for 8 quid.
