Best I've seen. Theres' a certain bat/birdness about it though. Add the legs antennae, change the shape of the yellow thorax so its a diamond and not an M and maybe invert the eyes and that would get my vote.

The hornet is fairly well realised, but I really don't like the positioning of the text, reminds me of some kind of 1950s rock n roll jukebox type thing (especially together with the hornet):

Agree with that. Though also with the fourth one, whenever I first glance at it, it appears as if the hornet is waving two big cartoonish clown hands (that are actually the two terribly positioned half-drowning herts).
I like your last one best as it encompasses the Hornets and the Harts. Having said that more graphic Hart heads like the one on the 1881 logo would be better IMO.
Genuinely and hilariously awful. How anyone could look at and of these after making it and say 'yep, that's the one'. Fair play to the club though. They have the morons falling over themselves so much in the vain hope of being the designer of a badge they'll get 0 royalties from that it's completely distracted them all from a laughable preseason.
Is this badge thing a 'dead cat on the table' to distract us all from the fact we can't sign a winger and are desperately short of RBs?
Grown on me too, probably my favourite from everything that I have seen so far. Will be interesting to see the final shortlist.
