Where is Ben Watson? The lack of communication from the club is pathetic. "Ben Watson is absent bla bla" "Isaac Success & Stefano Okaka have these respective injuries and are expected to be around for bla bla" "Janmaat was not fully fit and will now be out for bla bla" "We'd like to reassure fans that despite all these injuries we have full faith in the medical team and this is just merely bad luck" I would've expected an official statement regarding all the injuries. I still don't know whether Pererya is out for the season or a couple of months? It's an absolute joke and quite annoying to be honest.
I agree with you on almost all of the above Squibba but if Watson has a genuine family emergency and has asked for personal info not to be made public, then that's fair enough.
True say but has anyone from the club even said it's "personal issues" i haven't seen that from an official source either? Only seen that on here to be honest.
There were three injury update articles published in December... https://www.watfordfc.com/teams/first-team/sunderland-injury-update https://www.watfordfc.com/teams/first-team/watford-v-crystal-palace-injury-update https://www.watfordfc.com/teams/first-team/injury-update-mazzarri Not sure how much more you want really. It's a competitive sport, one small element of which is the secrecy around team selection until an hour before kick off. Unless a player is obviously going to be out it always makes sense to favour vague statements and keep the opposition guessing.
... Watson looks to the right, he sees a couple of options but knocks it up towards the right wing where AMRABAT has started his run. Wondering what's going on? Start here: http://www.wfcforums.com/showthread.php?59591-(1)-Heurelho-Gomes&p=1302642#post1302642
Looks like BW might have a few minutes this season......experience is required in the 'not so glamorous' matches me thinks
Going by the comments from Silva in the WO it seems Watson is vice captain alongside Gomes. Far cry from last season for him then!
