    I’ll say Mbaye to love,
    No one ever cared if I should live or die.
    Time and time again the chance for love has passed me by.

    God the Carpenters were only slightly more cheerful than Radiohead.

    Briefly from the article posted by magic;

    He's a 20 year old left-footed central defender.
    There seems to be an existing arrangement with WFC, Cadiz and IASA (South American Athletic Institution.)
    He has said his goodbyes to his current teammates.
    Seen as a rough diamond.
    Last season saw repeated injury problems, especially in the pubis. Ahem.
    Determined in the tackle (could explain the damage around that area) but a bit on the thin side.

    It doesn't say in the article but he's from Senegal originally.

    The article is superbly translated by Google thus;

    *****************************************

    The Watford is positioned to achieve the federative rights of Momo.

    The defender said goodbye to his teammates announcing that it would become the property of the English club

    Momo Mbaye was in the first half of last season one of the best sensations of Cádiz B of Baldomero Hermoso Mere. The central defender adapted the style of the Porto coach very quickly thanks to his good conditions. Given by the South American Athletic Institution (IASA), the African could change ownership because of the interest that exists in the Watford. Even the player announced this change of his rights when he said goodbye to those who had been his companions in the subsidiary.

    Momo, who has just turned 20, is a defender who has a very good sign and a sports career ahead that causes the admiration of those clubs that see in him a diamond in the rough that can give a lot in football.

    With 19 years he took over the ownership in the yellow subsidiary that ultimately was champion of group X of Tercera, and only the repeated physical problems, especially in the pubis, have reduced protagonism in the second half of the season. The imprint of Momo Mbaye in the cadista branch has been profound; a player with size, powerful in the air game and good handling of the ball thanks to an efficient left foot. Determinant in the stopped and forceful ball despite its thinness.

    The Uruguayan IASA gave it last summer to Cádiz to play in the second team, although now the federative rights of this international sub'20 could go to Watford. The Cadiz-IASA-Watford triangle is again present as long as this operation leaves the property of the African in the Premier club, whose first team is directed by Javi Gracia and Jesús Casas. The intention of the Watford could go through a new cession of the African, to which the Third one is too small.

    Starred in the fourth division of Spanish football...

    I hope this isn't a message that the Pozzos are happy with our current first choice CB options and are willing to leave it a year or two to allow young, inexpensive prospects through (as per with Foster and Dahlberg in the GK position), seems too much of a risk that they'll see us relegated before the youngsters get any opportunities.

    This is by all accounts a development signing.

    We will be bringing in at least one established centre back this window.

    Hopefully we go back in for Rafael Toloi from Atalanta.

    With regard to this being a development signing he's coming from Cadiz reserves so that speaks for itself.

    On the established CB - based on the number of established centre backs we've been linked with already this summer. It's hard to imagine we've suddenly decided it's not a priority anymore.

    I'm confused. What does the South American Athletic Institution (whatever that is) have to do with this? He's a Senegalese player in Spain potentially going to England.

    Institución Atlética Sud América (IASA) are a 2nd Division football club in Uruguay.

    According to the article in the opening post, the one I've Google translated in post #3, the final paragraph starts by saying...
    'The Uruguayan IASA gave it last summer to Cádiz to play in the second team.'

    From that I presume the player was sold to Cadiz B from IASA.

    Here is the IASA Wiki site with a translation of the outlining description below.
    https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Institución_Atlética_Sud_América

    The S.A.D. South America, known by its former name of South America Athletic Institution, and commonly called South America or simply IASA, is a Uruguayan football club in the city of Montevideo. It was founded in 1914 and disputes the Second Division championship.
    South America has now become a sports corporation under the name S.A.D. South America, although it is not popularly known as such. Its president is the Argentine Vicente Celio.

    Just to note that while Bailey’s is the out & out brand leader, there are alternative cream liqueurs.

    The prestigious Coole Swan & exotic Amarula are examples.
