This is now our number one problem. Not the defence anymore.

    That's a very good point...

Though I meant more in terms of the difficulty of the finish in addition to the fact it would be disallowed anyway!

**** up on Peyrera’s part for ridiculously delaying the pass.

******* hell, I'd forgotten that Gray attempted chip against Norwich. If ever there was a moment to highlight a player's lack of technique, that was it.

Also, Pereyra definitely at fault for the Sheff Utd situation, held onto it far too long then had to play it with pace, in the air and behind Gray.

To be fair though, I’d hesitate about playing in Gray.

We've miraculously got to the final game v Arsenal and are level with Villa and West Ham who play each other for 17th.

Its 1-1 with 2 minutes to go and Sarr whips in a ball to Deeney at the near post. His flick cannons off the defender, across the goal to Gray who is a yard out with the whole goal to aim at... He scuffs it up into the crossbar, rebound hits him in the face and flies in.

    Legend is born.

For 10 seconds. Before VAR intervenes and rules the goal out for Sarr's laces being offside in the build up.

Having looked back at those misses, I have to re-evaluate the Hughes was indeed the worst miss. Sarr's at Anfield was still pretty bad but it seemed
all Hughes had to do was literally walk into the ball and it's in. He has redeemed himself somewhat recently though, and I hope he can get his early
form and confidence back over the Pearson effect.
