Millwall pitch invasion: Fans confront Bradford players after Wembley play-off final win

MILLWALL fans invaded the pitch and confronted Bradford City players after their side's 1-0 victory in the League One play-off final at Wembley. Jubilant Lions fans spilled onto the turf following the final whistle as Steve Morison’s late goal secured a return to the Championship. Hundreds of Millwall fans burst past stewards to celebrate with their heroes, although a small number decided to taunt the defeated Bradford players as they made their way off the field.

If anyone feels strongly about this: there's an online petition doing the rounds to actually get Millwall disqualified from English football!:

Many reasons why I wouldn't sign that.

I've never had any problems with Millwall fans despite going to their ground numerous times.
How the h*ll did they manage to get onto the national stadium pitch in the first place?
They once took part in a minutes silences at our place when a Watford supporting soldier was killed in action, it was perfectly observed by every single away fan, I also think they did the same one remembrance day when we had a giant poppy displayed in the Rookery.
They appeared to honour the Bradford applause on 52 minutes yesterday.
It was probably day trippers, not the faithful fans who invaded the pitch.
    They smashed up lu*ons ground.

Agree with all the above, don't know if you can blame wembley, if a large group wants to get on they will, some steward earning minimum wage is not going to get in the way and don't blame them, cant remember fans ever getting on the pitch at the new wembley in such numbers, think the last time was after the the Liverpool Everton Cup final but maybe wrong.

I won't sign that nonsense but I wouldn't be shocked if the EFL docked them points for the start of next season. They've been to Wembley a few times now and there's always trouble.

    :D

Right, you don't want to punish the players.

Why not put an electric fence around the end where the Millwall fans are, like they use for cattle?!!

Considering our little fiasco with the HSBC letter it's probably best we keep out mouths shut.
