Been told he can leave Oxford United.

I know it was a long time ago, but the way he went about leaving Watford left a bad taste.

True, but he was one of the best central defenders we've had

 

I'm not sure a 34 year old defender being released at the end of his contract is exactly standout news. But yeah it was frustrating when he left us in the way he did.

 

Hopefully they told him just as he was boarding a bus...
