Mmm, he did used to be indeed, then he had his very public glow-up whilst Celtic manager (IIRC) and now he's Hollywood Brendan.
I'd never heard of him until this thread was started, it would be a disaster for us if we don't hope to sign this person that I was previously oblivious to.
Matt Grimes was actually at the Grove on Sunday. Doubt it was anything to do with us as Swansea played nearby but a weird coincidence as that's where we take new signings!
That's interesting. I think the rumour mill would be in full swing by now though had we held talks with him. Maybe he knows people in the area, but I'm sure the Swansea team wouldn't have gone to The Grove after playing at Wycombe, as it's a 45 minute drive in the opposite direction.
He was with his Mrs so probably just a romantic weekend away. Interesting he chose a hotel so close to a club he's been heavily linked to though
The non Udinese ones recently appear to go under the radar - I don't think there was an awful lot about Garner before he signed?
Again I saw Swansea many times last season and it was always Rodon that stood out for them. Is he really as good as people are saying? We still have Hughes to come back in.
Now that Garner has come in, I can't imagine we will go for him if Hughes stays. If we were going to spend that much money, it would be better spent on Rodon.
