Middlesbrough striker Mark Viduka admits his future is 'up in the air'. Viduka is out of contract at the end of the season and is waiting to discover Boro's intentions regarding a new deal. He has been linked with a January move to North East rivals Newcastle United, who had been keen during the summer. The Australia international is unsure what his future holds and whether he will be at The Riverside next season. "I don't know to be honest about my own future," said Viduka on Sky Sports News. "There's been no approach from the club towards me for any sort of renegotiation. "So it's all up in the air at the moment." Viduka joined Boro in a £4.5million switch from Leeds United in 2004 and has scored 26 goals in 77 appearances. He has been hampered by injury this season, with his goal in Monday's 2-1 defeat at Fulham his third in 12 outings during Gareth Southgate's tenure. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=437018&CPID=8&clid=25&lid=3&title=Viduka+unsure+of+future Mark Viduka may be a good signing
prem quality. proven to score goals. relegation battle experience= why not??? wages may effect and if boro are struggling too they may not want to sell him to us
Not for me I know he is a proven striker, but I have never rated him that highly, and now he is passed his best, I would not want him at WFC!
worth a go He would be good but def not worth splashing anything more than 2 million on. Hes too old not really an investment.
I should hope so, seeing as this thread is from 2006, he's probably getting around with a zimmer frame these days
Even being linked with a player of this standard is amazing for little old Watford. Thank you Pozzos.
Credit to SantaPorn he’s certainly raised the levels of wit on this forum to unprecedented new levels.
