Gino is the equivlant of a night club sex pest.

With Holebas it was more a case of throw a sack over his head & bundle him into the boot of a car

If it somehow comes off (and the rumour are true in the first place) this would be quite mental. We would have signed 3 players from Juventus in the past year, and 2 of our starting XI would have played in a Champions League final.

But why would Hughes want to come to a tiny little tinpot club like ours?

Lots of Italian press again saying today that we have bid €20mil for Lemina. From the poor translations I got, it looks like someone high up the Juve ladder has been interviewed and confirmed that they an offer from Prem team for Lemina. However he goes on to say that Lemina will go for €20mil-€25mil and that they have received offers from multiple clubs from different leagues.

 

I know I'm setting myself up to be extremely dissappinted here, but I really do think we'll sign Lemina within the next week or 2.

Wants to come to the Premier League, we seem willing to pay the money, good friends with Pereyra, knows djedje from their time at Marseille (could be a bad thing admittedly), played against doucoure and both played in France's youth system at roughly the same time so could easily know each other well.

Now let's watch this optimism come back to bite me when West Ham offer €30mil and we refuse to match it

 

The fact we haven't heard anything for weeks makes me feel like we're actually gonna sign him. I remember the Pererya deal went very quiet and suddenly he signed.

 

If so, we'd have Hughes, Doucoure, Pereyra, Chalobah, Cleverley, Lemina, Capoue, Watson, Behrami.

We'd probably have to lose the latter 3, but that would be an incredibly competitive midfield.
