Feck it. Let's go down with a bit of pride and fight. Drop DeleFooFoo Bobby No Fight and send Mapps to the knackers yard. If Old Deeney (the lazy one) turns up sub him and drop him. Time for a big reaction from Nige.
Ighalo kept away from squad training. We might not see him against us. Can only be a good thing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Given our luck, he’ll score against us, and infect several of our players with Coronavirus during the post-game hugs. Giraldi ends up playing RB for the remainder of the campaign and we go down without picking up any further points.
United win. We will be in the game around 60 mins, get tired, manager don't make any changes, then we concede.
Just seen the Toby Alderweireld own goal. He needs to take a few tips from Maricrappa. He didn't create space, buy himself time or bury it with confidence. Please tell me Maricrappa is not in the squad for the Utd game.
Kiko should be back. I only hope he’s as good back on the right as he was filling in at left full back before he got injured.
Since Femenia and possibly also Dawson are back(?), hopefully Mariappalling should be nowhere to be seen. Knowing us, though, we'll probably start him because he's a good little boy and wore Watford underpants to school. That would be very Watfordy.
I'm sure if you check the stats, we have the highest percentage of 'former players who score against us'. Young, Smith, Helguson, King, Sordell, Richarlison. I can recall their goals off the top of my head. I'm sure it's much much worse. Yet another record we just have to hold.
Let's hope he doesn't go back to being as rubbish as he had been for most of the season before Pearson came. Same for Dawson! And even Sarr.. who was petty much written off by a few of people after about 2 months. Well most of our team looked pretty hopeless I guess.
His best quality is managing to stay fit unlike anyone else it seems hence being involved the squad a lot! Cathcart or Kabasele must be due another injury. Seems to be swings and roundabout..
I would love to know the root cause of such a limp collapse in concentration since Spuds at home. There is no way Deeney's penalty miss brought it on. We have played well since then, but mentally we have regressed back to QSF era. Scoring goals was a huge problem for us at one point, but now we are scoring quite frequently - but not winning games. Is that down to poor management of games? I know losing Sarr was a big blow for us - but if we suddenly play awesome again when he comes back - then the "one man team" stigma is officially here. Which, in my view, would be a damn shame.
Need Utd to win both games, or at the least Chelsea tonight. Their form over the new year has been very patchy - discounting the Tranmere demolition, their form in nine games has been W3 D2 L4, and they've failed to score in five of them. The longer that goes on, the more determined they'll be to beat us to get their season on track.
That needs to be in the Oxford dictionary. Here is my noted summary: WATFORDY (noun or pronoun) To "do a Watford" Alias to "be fluky on a particular occasion be it good or bad. Similar with or to "Fluke, lucky, "streak of luck"
A poor CB, often beaten in the air by much shorter players. The own goal at Brighton was his nadir while at Watford. Time for him to move on to pastures new.
Can’t see us winning , but they did sign Ighalo so can’t see them winning either , Watford 0 Man UTD 0 VAR 2
Cannot be many strikers much shorter! Any stand out ? Maguire could have been sent off so bound to score Sunday rising above our static defenders..
Scrappy game tonight. Man u do not seem particularly cutting up front. If we can make it a scrappy game and don't give them any time we could have a chance. Just need to make sure we have something left in the tank and some tactics to see the game out if we can get a lead.
