    Sounds like UEFA didn't follow their own procedures correctly.

    CAS: Okay UEFA. You didn't get a look at the books, so there's nothing to prove. So, they can join the CL. As for you MC, shame on you for not giving access to your books. Give 10M to UEFA
    MC: Brilliant result.

    FFP dies a death as does football. All the power to sovereign states financing clubs. Abu Dhabi are not innocent. They got away with the incompetence of UEFA and it's lawyers and the fact that this has dragged on so long. Those working for CAS should have their bank accounts checked or see if they receive gifts and holidays in the coming years. It stinks to high heaven. CAS feels a significant fine should be imposed so they reduce it ? Saudi Arabia will be jumping into Newcastle in no little order after this with their sordid little power battle.

    This can't be right. UEFA, who know about these things, say that "over the last few years, Financial Fair Play has played a significant role in protecting clubs and helping them become financially sustainable and Uefa and the European Club Association remain committed to its principles." Just think what clubs' finances would be like if they hadn't been protected by FFP.

    No, UEFA is dependent on the money and involvement of Man City and the other rich clubs, not vice versa. I don't think laws or rules come into it much.
