Not sure we will ever see any of those lads in a WFC shirt, unless they turn out to be super stars, but possibly not even then.

IMHO a lot of these youngsters are WFC players in name only, and are really just products to be sold in the Pozzo's "Player Supermarket"

 

Four of those players have joined us from Udinese, the other has joined us from Granada. They may be Watford players on paper, but those deliberating whether or not these players will ever play for Watford need to remember that it's very much a case of 'easy come, easy go'.

Yes and no. They've joined from the Udinese Football School in Colombia, not Udinese itself. It appears that Parma used to run a football school in Barranquilla, Colombia but when they went bust, Udinese took the school over.

I agree with the rest though, they are shared assets that just happen to be registered to us. There is only one thing that concerns me about the Pozzo model - that they are taking a lot of kids from South America and Africa, and moving them to Europe at a very young age to live a nomadic lifestyle on loan at various clubs. That's fine if ultimately they have a successful career but I really hope that they have decent support structures in place for those that don't make it.

I would be surprised if they are not looked after as the Pozzos seem to have a good name in S America. I reckon word would have got round by now if that wasn't the case.
