Mentioned it before I'm sure, I lived in Hathersage for a couple of years and worked in Sheffield. Got married there in Bamford.

The problem with the North is it's s h i t.

 

You’re thinking of Grim North. Remember there’s also Posh North.

 

I like the north. Whenever I go up there Northists seems to be a friendly bunch, happy to say hello or have a conversation. They like to serve proper beer although have a fascination with 3 inches of head I can't understand. Given the price reduction I put up with it.

Down south if you even look at someone the wrong way you're likely to get murdered.

My retirement plan involves selling my house at a huge mark-up and then relocating up north to open a pub.

 

Tough having to climb up the side of that hill every day ? Sweaty armpits ?
