I think that's unfair. Against Arsenal he was inspired and IMO earned some respect, for sheer effort and IIRC, for nearly scoring a worldie.

From then on, he started to look like a player trying to win a place in the side when he played.

Yes, and he was great when he came on in the Cup semi.

But that was at the tail end of the season. It was glimpses. In the main part, before that period, I think what I witnessed is what I stated in my post.

 

With Masina I actually think he was excellent in every game that he started for us, he tended to struggle more when brought on as a sub as he struggled to get up to the pace of the game quickly enough.

Kurzawa is only 26 though and a clear upgrade on both Holebas and Masina so for €7m this would be a great signing.

Makes more sense when you realise super agent Kia Joorabchian helped get new Arsenal Technical Director, Edu his job. Then guess who just signed Joorabchian as his new agent? That's right, Kurzawa.

He has the ability to be PSGs main left-back, but he's constantly ravaged by injuries and as you say - definitely isn't what Arsenal need right now.
