It's not about "they". If the current owner thinks he will get better money than he would get from anyone else, he will sell, ..... if Baz can prove he has the funds (which was the issue last time with Bolton - allegedly).
If he has printed out emails from David Sullivan saying that he will lend £30m then I would hope that's enough.

To go from not being able to settle debts in August/September to thinking he is in a position to owning Oldham Athletic the following March, either shows what a brilliant business man he is or a complete delusional waster, I know what my moneys on!

I think we can criticise Bassini for plenty of things. Not taking the club into administration, the safe incident and having a small penis but wanting back money he’s owed isn’t really a stick to beat him with. Unless of course, he’s not really owed it. But their forums seem to think he is. So who knows? He’s a parasite, a blood sucking parasite but people continue to do business with him and he continues to get paid. Pretty damning about the state of football.
Fair point - he is still allowed to hang around like a bad smell and as you say people deal with him.
Seems the only explanation I can find on their forum is it could be money he lent it to the previous owner. The problem with that is the guy has gone bankrupt, twice. I doubt he ever had £17 to lend anyone, let alone £1.7m.

This is serious stuff. Did he tell the police Simon Jordan was a serial killer? But seriously, the guy is mentally unwell. Why do they keep giving him airtime and why do clubs kneel taking him seriously? It’s really weird.
Is this a new one ? I heard his last call to Talksport a week or two back which was embarrassing but this sounds like he's found a new level. He just can't help himself can he ?
The police are aware. Bazsini (new identity) is their key witness which is why he is in a safehouse and using a disposable untraceable mobile and keeping a really really low profile.
