ONE-hundred goal striker Marlon King has admitted that he and his Watford team mates are learning life the hard way in the Barclays Premiership.
    Marlon King scores
That follows his side letting slip a two goal advantage on Monday evening, before eventually drawing with Chris Coleman's Fulham side in a 3-3 thriller at Vicarage Road.
"We took our foot off the gas and you can't do that in the Premiership. You get punished - we'll have to go to training, have a look at things and work on it on the training ground," said the former Forest striker.
"Against any squad of players you can't do that. We are learning the hard way and we shouldn't be. We just want to put it behind us now, work on it in training and look forward to the Arsenal game, which will be another tough game.
"The manager was disappointed. He never said much really. I don't blame him, I mean we were 2-0 up at home and for whatever reason we ended up 3-3. Instead of three points it was a point."
King opened the scoring against the Cottagers, taking him to the milestone of 100 career league goals, but could he take any satisfaction from the feat?
"No not really, not at all. I am not even thinking about that right now, I am looking at it that it was two points dropped. But we have to take the positives out of the game and go and work on them on the training ground.
"It was really wet out there, Youngy's picked me out and I just brought it down and tried to get my balance and luckily it went in."
Now, like his colleagues, King will look ahead to a tough trip to the Emirates Stadium, although he's keener than most to see Arsenal's new home.
"It's another game but I am looking forward to it and getting our first three points. I am a Gooner and I've not been to the new stadium yet but hopefully I'll get to play there in a couple of week's time."

A what? Any blatant misses and I'll be asking him why ;)

They said they learnt a lesson after giving up the lead against West Ham. Maybe this time it'll be remembered.

Might have been taken out of context. Foster is probably a Utd fan but he has given his all for Watford
