Valencia interested in taking both Kiko and Deulofeu on loan with an option to buy... https://as.com/futbol/2020/07/28/pr...terno_rsoc=CM_ES_TW&__twitter_impression=true
Yes....I read that, but Valencia only want loan deals. They don't have much money. I could see them being a good fit, but both are under long contracts. Watford are in a strong position, but I cannot see loan deals suiting us. If Valencia want these two, they're going to have to stump up around £30m for the two and that's not going to happen.
Letting Deulofeu go out on loan wouldn’t be the worst move ever though. The right deal could at least leave us with the option of bringing him back for 21/22 if we somehow managed the stumble back into the PL.
We could possibly loan him to Valencia and bring in one or two players on loan from them. However I don't think loan deals really suit our situation if we are going to let our best players go then it has to be for big money to balance the bank account, otherwise surely it makes more sense for the club both on the pitch and financially to utilise them to get back to the Premier League where we can make ****loads from TV money.
Don’t see us agreeing to loan deals. It does mean that we can have the players back (in the case of Del B), but surely we need the cash to rebuild
Clearly bottled it in the last game and probably had this move in mind when he limped off. See ya Kiko. On your day you were alright.
Alright going forward. Terrible defender. Absolutely no need when we had Sarr in front of him. Won't be a loss.
Haha. We are a joke. Our owners are treating the club and fans with contempt and the plucked chickens still follow them in the hope of some crumbs of corn.
I don’t really blame the club so much if they say a player is ‘ill’. It’s pretty likely the player has presented themselves as being unwell knowing a move is likely - the club will be unable to prove a player isn’t unwell. Annoyong, underhand etc etc. But it’s not the same as claiming injury as the club can disprove that really.
This is what I imagine is going to happen. A year loan at a Europa League club and a few million pounds loan fee. No club will pay us what we want after his injury/ our relegation, so waiting until next year (where he hopefully will have impressed on loan) would be a much better option.
Given that he is utterly dreadful and he only has one year left on his deal and so can agree a deal to leave on a free in 3-4 months time I am not to bothered about this if we can actually get some money for him. The only issue is that there is **** all cover if he does leave.
On his day he is very good going forwards....however he is a simply terrible defender. Always thought he would be a better winger. Cheerio Kiko!
Not really sure about him as a winger either. He is an odd player in that he always looks quite good with the ball at his feet, and is bloody quick, but he is a mediocre crosser of the ball and does really offer much by way of goal threat.
This is mind boggling. Our full backs from the start of the window: Estupinan - sold Masina - long term injury Janmaat - long term injury Ngakia - available Navarro - injured Femenia - about to be sold Genuinely incredible stuff, not all the club's fault obviously. From five available to one in the space of a couple of weeks.
