Unfortunately agreeing with JB. Like I posted last night, MM had the cardiff job yesterday morning. If that means he wanted to go or if Cardiff were going to offer him the job, I don't know.

 

No not at all. I have heard bits of information from people that I have no reason to doubt both on here and privately that would lead me to believe that Malky wants to go to Cardiff (or leave Watford, whatever way you want to look at it).

I hope that I am wrong and that they are but unfortunately I highly doubt it.

 

Him going to Cardiff, which is likely, is one thing. Putting it down to 'push factors' is speculating though.

 

I think that we can all agree that at this stage managing Burnley is a much more attractive prospect than managing Cardiff?

Then why would Malky be happy to effectively say no to Burnley in January and sign a new three-and-a-half contract and then only months later wish to go to Cardiff rather than staying at Watford?

Exactly what I am trying to say.

In my eyes it is the changes to the club (for better or worse) that have occurred since then that are dictating him potentially leaving; not the attraction of Cardiff.

B the first board meeting for ages! Prob means he is going to have a chat with GT. Quote last weeks interview WO.

 

For what it is worth I believe he will go, but speculating before it has happened is futile.

 

The critical point is whether he will actually listen to GT!
