Needs to be good with his feet and distribution, if we are going to be expansive it starts from the keeper
Just remember everyone, if we spend 27m on him, that money is going straight back into our coffers, via Udinese in a Pozzo wangle. So we can then go and spend it all over again on a pair of centre backs.

I think we should offer them a swap deal. They can take two from Gomes, Bachmann or Dahlberg as exchange in a 2 for 1 deal. Sounds fair to me.
Always been impressed with him when I've seen him play. Excellent shot stopper and is used to being busy during games which is a plus. Get him, De Paul and Fofana and toss them the dross of which there is plenty.
Bachmann, Femenia, Masina, Capoue, Success & Gray to Udinese Lasagna, Rodrigo de Paul, Fofana & Lasagna to Watford.
Would get him in ahead of Foster. Loan Foster out to Udinese so he can collect some serie A shirts. Bring in Dahlberg as the understudy. If Scaloni has any sense he makes Musso number one for Argentina, Benitez/Martinez fight for second, Andrada and the young Pourtau for third. Sion had a bad season. Conceded a hatful of goals. Might not be his fault as with Foster. Was very highly rated as a youngster. The next Lev Yashin.
Also think we need a keeper who is that sort of age (mid 20s-early 30s). Doubt Dahlberg will get a chance next season, that leaves us with Foster and Gomes. Gomes is way past it, I would argue Foster is also past his best and can be, frankly, terrifying. Foster may also be wanted by an EPL team. That leaves us in big trouble. Bachmann is not good enough, unfortunately. Looks like he's got good reflexes, strong on both sides and brave. Problem with YT is you don't see the basics- which are equally important.
If Gomes is still here next season it will be a disgrace. Pedro can settle in with the other South Americans. They do so at other clubs. It's like a little coterie. Messi, Suarez and Vidal are a good example. Get him out ASAP. If needs be loan Foster back to WBA. Have Musso and Dahlberg if all goes well on Sunday. A cheap punt like this as the three. None of the Academy keepers are anywhere near playing for the first team. A damning indictment on the coaching perhaps.
