I'd rather have his team mate - Mooney.

No Seriously - he'd come if we wanted him. But I don't think he's got what it takes.

PS. Charlton - christ they are carp...

Had an STH at Wycombe last season too. When to the game last night too.

Far to good for League 2. Usually only needs one chance.

He’s still young isn’t he? If he’s learning off Sir Tommy, he probably wouldn’t be a bad player, local as well so wouldn’t have to move far (if at all). I reckon Wycombe would less us have him cheaper than other teams for that reason.
Doubt he could do the business straight away (like Priskin), so it’s back to the old debate whether we want a quick fix (which could still go wrong), or a punt at a long term solution.

lol you can't seriously think they'd let us have him cheap just because he's been learning off Mooney ??
That's laughable, if they sell then they'll be looking for top money for him and rightly so.

No i meant because we are both local sides, we could increase their profile by arranging regular friendlies or something, especially if we stayed in the Prem.

To be quite honest their profile isn't really going to be raised that much by us is it, an annual friendly wouldn't be that beneficial to them not like it is to Northwood.

Took his goal superbly there is no doubting that...however, every striker has a purple patch and i'd rather we signed someone that scores goals every season! Billy Sharp has scored alot of goals in the past two and a half seasons and would be a better bet than Easter!

Tommy is on record saying that `Easter is his legs`, and inferred that he is Easter`s football brain.

Jermaine Easter (born January 15, 1982 in Cardiff, Wales) is a Welsh professional footballer currently playing for League Two side Wycombe Wanderers. He plays as a striker for the club, and wears the number 9 shirt.

Easter joined Wycombe on January 31, 2006 from Stockport County, after spells at Wolves, Hartlepool, Cambridge and Boston. He made 10 starting appearances and one substitute appearance for the club during the 2005-06 season. He managed only two goals, possibly being overshadowed by star striker Tommy Mooney.

Easter is contracted to the club until June 2008. The striker claimed his first league hat-trick this season against Bury on the 19th August. It is the fastest league hat-trick scored by a Wycombe player, timed at 22 minutes, beating Nathan Tyson's 25 minute hat-trick against Lincoln City in 2004. As of 16th September 2006, Easter was the top scorer in the English Football League, with seven league goals.

Jermaine has a brother, Jamal Easter, who currently plays for Cardiff City
