Supposedly we could be interested in Larsen as well as Llorente. 30 year old defender - right back according to Wiki. https://www.tuttoudinese.it/calciom...e-e-larsen-potrebbero-finire-al-watford-82144
Right/left wing back in Udinese’s 3-5-2 isn’t he? We don’t have a good record fitting wing backs in to a back 4.
He seems quite versatile, has played a lot on the left this season following the emergence of Nahuel Molina (who seems like he could be Udinese's next big sale after Musso and De Paul). So maybe he is coming in to compete with Masina? Don't know where that leaves Young though.
Jens Stryger Larsen is classed as a right back, but has been playing right midfield for Udinese this season, although recently switched to the left for the second part of the season. Made 29 appearances and scored a couple of goals. Is a current Danish international with 33 caps. Sounds pretty useful. Can play in midfield on the left or right side and in the full back positions left or right.
I think you could play AY anywhere on the left & he would improve us. LB, LM or left-sided attack. Doesn't matter. That's one of the reason's he'd be such a great signing.
Transfermarkt says he's got another year, so looks like he's signed an extension since then, or maybe the original contract had an addition 1 year option which Udi have activated. (Or maybe Transfermarkt are wrong, which happens.) https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/jens-stryger-larsen/profil/spieler/69646
Ta. I mean, it's all artificial anyway when they're group transfers but if the player's free it changes that a bit.
I think he is definitely better than what we currently have on the left. I was under the impression that he was a regular there, he seems to be a regular for Denmark.
Cheap pine flooring and UPVC windows ruins an otherwise spectacular shot . Although it has to be said the finish on the skirting board is passable .
I thought some people would like to read about him without having to do the leg work. But as always, thanks for the catty remark. I guess the weekend boycott was tough on you.
I've seen Udinese play a few times this season. LWB and it was nothing special. I can't honestly see where he would line up.
Left back but I don't particularly rate A.M at Premier league level and the less said about Lazaar the better.
He's right-footed though, I'm really not keen on wrong-sided full-backs. They're very rarely a good solution at the top level.
True, although admittedly only a handful of times every time I have seen him play for Udinese he has been on the left and looked decent enough.
